KIM manufactures two kinds of industrial valves for both the chemical and water industries: (Both Weir Type and Straight Through Type). KIM Diaphragm Valves are known for their benefits in corrosion and abrasion resistance, offering features of leak tightness and low cost maintenance in severe service applications. The valves are based on simple operating principles and have recently become more widely used by process engineers as a result of the increased range of diaphragms and body lining materials. KIM Diaphragm Valves are cast in grey cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, bronze, stainless steel and other various alloys. The range of linings includes various elastomers, glass, plastic linings (PFA, ETFE, PP, and PVDF) as well as fluoro-polymer coatings including halar (ECTFE) and Tefzel (ETFE). A wide selection of diaphragms to suit various demands completes the manual valve package. All Valves' “N” Bonnets are standard with stainless steel spindles, position indication and tamper proof over-closure protection. KIM B-5 Butterfly valves, Wafer Type are made of cast iron body with a vulcanized EPDM rubber liner for temperatures up to 110° C (230° F). The valves have a ductile iron disk coated with porcelain enamel to stand polluted and aggressive media. This provides a smooth surface and edge for a long seat life and low closing torque with non-adherence to mineral deposits. |
